KARINA KENDRICKS, BAY VILLAGE HIGH SCHOOL, GLENVILLE STATE COLLEGE

Karina ended her high school career at Bay Village High School as a First Team Southwestern Conference three years in a row.  She was also a First Team - Northeast Lakes All district and was Area Special Mention - All-Ohio Teams.  Her senior year she was voted Elyria Chronicle Player of the Week, two times.   

LEAH KENDRO, STRONGSVILLE H.S., UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE
Leah was both first team and second team All-Pioneer Conference in her junior and senior seasons.  She was also selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player in her junior  season.  She was also named to the Sun News All-Southwest team and honorable mention in Cuyahoga County .  Off the court,  Leah was a solid student and had volunteered at the Shurmer Place Nursing Home and worked with children at the Ronald McDonald House and Berea Children’s home. She was also a DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education). Role Model.

JACLYN KONIECZKA
, PARMA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, NIAGARA UNIVERSITY
Named Three-time all-district, honorable mention all-county as a sophomore, two-time second team all-conference and honorable mention as a freshman.  Two-time Cuyahoga County All-Star, Sun News All-Sun Southwest Team and Four-time Parma Athletic Award honoree.  Averaged 12.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.1 blocks and 1.0 assists while shooting 43 percent from the field and 63.9 percent from the free-throw line for her career.  She averaged a double-double (13.4, 10.2) as a senior.  Holds the school game (11), season (50, 2002-03) and career (299) records for blocks.  She’s ranked ninth for blocks in a career in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (O.H.S.A.A.)...Honored with the O.H.S.A.A. Courageous Spirit Award

KAYLA KOVACH, LAKEWOOD H.S., INDIANA-PURDUE FT WAYNE (IPFW)
Kovach had a stellar career at Lakewood as a two sport athlete. She is the All-Time leading scorer and was the Female Athlete of the Year twice. She was named 1st Team All-Conference for the Lake Erie League and 3rd Team Northeast Ohio D-1 Girls Basketball and Plain Dealer Player of the Week. Kovach was the MVP of her team all four years and was captain for three. She was on the honor roll with a 3.9 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society. 


MELANIE KOZLOWSKI, HOLY NAME H.S., MIAMI UNIV. OF OHIO

Melanie led Miami of Ohio to a runner-up finish at the Atlanta Marriott NW Classic, averaging 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while draining six three-point field goals. As a junior, she ranked second among Miami players in scoring, averaging 11.0 points per game.  She left Holy Name as the school’s  All Time Leading Scorer.  She was also voted Plain Dealer Best of the Best.  She was the conference MVP, both her Junior and Senior Years.

Four-year letterwinner in basketball and soccer ... selected as a McDonald's All-America nominee as a senior ... named First Team Sandusky Bay Conference three times ... selected to First Team All-District three times ... named to Second Team All-Ohio following 2007-08 season ... led team to a state semifinal appearance in 2007 ... received honorable mention all-state honors in 2007 ... three-time team Defensive Player of the Year ... scored 1,000+ points ... was a two-year captain and three-time All-District First-Team selection in soccer ... holds school records for goals (29) and assists (10) in a single season as well as a single-game scoring record with four goals ... graduated in the top 10 percent of her high school class ... member of the National Honor Society.

Sarah played four years of varsity basketball while at St. Joseph Academy .  She was first team All-Private School league for two years.  She led the team in rebounds and block shots. 

ALLISON LIPINSKI, GARFIELD HEIGHTS H.S., COLGATE UNIV.
Lipinski finished her senior season averaging 29.5 points. She made 50 percent of her shots from the field, 42 percent of her 3-point attempts and 86 percent of her free throws. She was voted All-Sun News Most Valuable Player her senior season, too.  She was a 2-Time Streets & Smith All American Honoree and 2-Time High School All American.  Voted 2-Time All-USA Today All American and a 2-Time Ohio Dream Team Selection.  She was voted Miss Basketball for the state of Ohio her senior year, too.
 


LINDSEY LOWRIE, BAY VILLAGE HIGH SCHOOL, MERCER UNIVERSITY
Played four seasons with Bay High School, under head coach Chris Brewer ... Scored over 1,000 points in her four-year career with the Rockets ... Set the Bay school record for most three-pointers made in a game, most three-pointers made in a season, most three-pointers in a career and most assists in a season ... Played AAU ball for the SMAC Showtime, helping Andre Gault’s team to the a junior national title in her freshman year.

Emily played four years of varsity basketball at Wadsworth High School .  She was voted 1st Team All-Suburban League Conference her senior season.  She was 2nd Team All-Conference her junior season.  She averaged 14 points her senior season and was Honorable-Mention Medina County both her junior and senior year.

RINNIE MAYER, FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF CHARLESTON 
Rinnie left Fairview High School as the All-Time Leading Scorer.  She was 2nd Team All-SWC her freshman year.  She was voted 1st Team All-SWC her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.  She was Special Mention All-Ohio her senior season, too.  Voted team captain her junior and senior year, she played in every varsity game all four years of high school.

 

LYDIA MCCULLY, BEDFORD HIGH SCHOOL , UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS  
Lydia was ranked as the No. 46 senior in the class of 2007 by Blue Star Report. She averaged 15.6 points, 6. 5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 4.0 steals per game as a junior at Bedford High School in 2005-06. She was the Lake Erie League MVP, 1st team All-Ohio selection and All-Northeast Ohio Division I District first team. Prior to 2005-06, McCully played for Villa Angela-Saint Joseph High School .  She was twice named team MVP and All-Ohio.

A four-year letter winner under coach Steven Stewart at Salem High School .  Team captain as a senior.  Earned All-Ohio Special Mention honors as a senior.  Named to the all-conference first-team.  A four-time Penn-Ohio All-Star selection.  Named to the Columbiana County All-Star team all four years, and was selected to Al Beach All-County All-Star game all four years.

KEALY MCNALLY, ROCKY RIVER H.S., UNIVERSITY DETROIT-MERCY
Kealy was a four year varsity letter winner at Rocky River High School .  She was voted 1st team All-Conference her junior and senior seasons.  She was a 1,000 point scorer during her career.  She was Honorable Mention All-Ohio and All-Northeast Lakes Inland her senior year.



AUDRA MIHALIC, AMHERST STEELE HIGH SCHOOL , UNIVERSITY OF FINDLEY  
Appeared and started in all 27 games at Findley her freshman year.  Averaged 9.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.   She scored a career-high 20 points against Unversity of Charleston, 18 points against Tiffin University and 17 points against Ashland and Lake Superior State .  She made 26 three pointers, as well.  She was Honorable Mention All-Ohio for three years
and was voted Southwestern Conference MVP at Amherst Steele.  She was also Honorable Mention All-Ohio in softball two years.

Amanda started varsity of three years while at Holy Name High School .  She was voted 1st Team All-Conference both her junior and senior seasons.  She was 2nd team All-Ohio her senior year.  She was also team M.V.P at Holy Name her senior year.

ARI MOORE, REGINA H.S., TEMPLE UNIV.

Ari was the most valuable player at Regina High School her senior year.  She averaged 16.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 3.7 assists as Regina HS won 2 Ohio State titles during her career.  She was 3-Time All Ohio her last three years.  She was on the Ohio Basketball Dream Team.
