REID ANDERSON
, ST. EDWARD HIGH SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF ALBANY
Started 24 of 25 games for the Spartans. Led the team in scoring at 14.3 points per-game and grabbed 4.4 rebounds per-game. Scored a career-high 27 points at Trine on Dec. 6. Named UAA Athlete of the Week on Mar. 2. Earn honorable mention All- UAA award.  During Reid's freshmen yr at Albany the school received it's bid to the NCAA tournament for the 2nd straight yr.

Phil left his high school and college basketball teams as the leading 3pt career shooter.

JEN ARNOLD, NORDONIA H.S., AKRON UNIV.
The Knights' senior guard was one of four returnees to the All-Sun squad.  She averaged 22.1 points her senior season and surpassed the 2,000-point plateau in her career. She was also 2-Time Plain Dealer Player of the Year and was Honorable Mention, All-State her senior season.

MEREDITH BAUGHER, BERIA H.S., VALPARAISO UNIV
After serving as a graduate assistant for Valparaiso University Crusader women's basketball program prior during the 2005-2006 season, Meredith Baugher was promoted to an assistant coach for the 2006-2007 campaign.  A four-year letterwinner for the Crusaders from 2001-2005, Baugher averaged nearly six points and four rebounds per game over the course of her career.  She earned Honorable Mention All Mid-Con accolades as a sophomore.  While at Berea High School, she was a repeat All-Sun selection and  became the school's first 1,000-point career scorer. She was voted Special Mention, All Ohio her senior year and left as Berea’s Career Points Leader, (1,189 points).

LINDSEY BEHNE, ELYRIA H.S., INDIANA UNIV. OF PENN.
She was 1st Team All-Lorain County her junior and senior seasons at Elyria High School.  She was, also, Honorable-Mention All-Ohio her senior season, too.  Lyndsey played her freshman season for IUPUI where she was second on the team in scoring and rebounding.  She also, played 3 years on the IUPUI women’s volleyball team.

KATIE BERRY, ST. JOSEPH ACADEMY, WALSH UNIVERSITY
She averaged 19.1 points per game and scored 421 points her senior season.  A four year letter winner who led the team in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks after which she was voted team MVP.  She was named All-Northeast Lakes All-Star District Team, Cleveland Plain Dealer Player of the Week, a Sun Newspaper All-Star and honorable mention All-Ohio her senior season.

CIERRA BRAVARD, PERKINS HIGH SCHOOL, FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY
Lettered for four seasons under coach Ray Neill at Perkins High School...School's all-time leading scorer with 1,966 career points. Tallied 40 points in a single game, which is a school record.  Posted 14 rebounds and 12 blocked shots, both of which are new school standards.  As a senior, was named first team all-conference, all-district and all-state.  Ohio Player of the Year and a WBCA All-America pick.  As a junior, was a first team all-conference, all-district and all-state selection.  Finalist for Ohio Ms. Basketball.  Earned first team all-conference, all-district and all-state honors as a sophomore.  Starred as a freshman, earning all-conference and all-district honors while also taking honorable mention all-state status as well.  Member of the SMAC Showtime Club Team.

DIANDRA (DEE) BREMOND, JOHN F. KENNEDY H. S., UNIVERSITY OF CHARLESTON 
Dee was 2nd team All-NCL her sophomore season.  She was 1st team All-Senate both her junior and season seasons.  She was the team leading scorer her senior year.  She led the team to the Ohio State Regional Final game her junior season.  She was Special Mention All-Ohio her senior season. 

 


KOURTNEY BROWN
, SOLON HIGH SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF BUFFALO
A four-year letter winner and two-year captain at Solon High School...averaged 18.1 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game as a senior, leading her team to a 23-4 record...set the school record for points in a game (41) and rebounds in a game (21)...was named to the All-Conference, All-District and All-County First Teams...was also named to the All-Ohio Second Team and a Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star....helped the Comets to the state championship game as a senior and a WRC Conference Championship as a junior...also lettered in cross country and track where she set the school record in the 3200m and as part of the 4x800m relay team.




JARELL BROWN, St. Peter Chanel High School, Army
Army Men’s basketball player Jarell Brown was recognized by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) with his selection to the All-Metropolitan third team. The junior guard is the first Black Knight to cop All-Metropolitan honors since Mark Lueking earned a third-team certificate in 1996.   Brown topped Army and ranked second among all Patriot League performers in scoring this past season, averaging 16.9 ppg. A prolific three-point shooter, Brown connected on 87 triples in 2006-07, the third-highest single season total in Army history. With 150 career treys, Brown finished his junior campaign ranked fourth on the Black Knights career three-point ledger.

She lettered four times while at Amherst Steele High School.  She average 14 points and 7 rebounds her senior season and 9 points and 7 rebounds her junior season.  She was 3rd team All-District, First Team All-Lorain County and First Team All-SWC her senior season.

 Honored as the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year • Named an NE-10 Second Team Conference All-Star • Played and started in 28 of 29 games, averaging a team-best 32.8 minutes per game• Also led the River Hawks with 14.1 points per game • Converted 103-132 free throws (.780) • Scored in double digits in 23 games, including a season-best 26 points in a 66-49 win at Stonehill • Season highs in assists and rebounds were seven each, in a a 65-59 win over Southern New Hampshire and a 76-65 win over LeMoyne, respectively • Had a season-best six steals in an 83-47 win over St. Michael's. Played four years of varsity basketball at Shelby High School • Three-time all-league selection and member of three league championship teams • Served as team captain for one year • All-Ohio honorable mention and two-time all-district honoree • Broke school records for most assists and three-pointers made in a single season and during her career • Also played for the SMAC club team out of Cleveland.

AMANDA DACEK, BEREA H.S., GANNON UNIVERSITY

Dacek is expected to battle for playing time at every guard position. The 5’7” guard redshirted during her first season at Gannon in 2007-08. A combo-type guard with the ability to play on the wing, she has a variety of tools at her disposal and poses a ton of problems for opposing defenders. Dacek is an athletic and quick player.  Dacek averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.2 steals as a junior in 2005-06. The 5-foot-7 guard is a three-time all-conference selection. She earned all-conference honorable-mention accolades as a freshman, was named to the second team as a sophomore, and landed a spot on the first team last season as a junior.  She has dominated the Berea team awards, being named Most Complete Player every year. She has been named Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year during her career.



TORI DAVIS, OPEN DOOR H.S, BALDWIN WALLACE
Davis finished one of the most illustrious careers in the history of the college, scoring a College all-time high 2,232 career points and setting 14 other records.  Davis is the record holder for free-throws made and attempted in a season (203-of-276 in 2005-06), seasonal record holder with 703 points during the 2005-06 campaign, among others.

COLLEN DAY, HOLY NAME H.S., MIAMI UNIV. OF OHIO
Day was a three-time team captain who led Miami to a Mid-American Conference championship in 2004.  A four-year starter for the Red and White from 2000-04.  The 6-foot forward started 106 of the 114 career games in which she played, while averaging 11.1 points and 7.0 rebounds for her career. She was a first-team all-MAC selection that season and came in second in MAC Player of the Year voting.  Following her collegiate career, Day competed internationally for one season in Germany .  Colleen attended Holy Name High School , where she helped the Green Wave to a four-year record of 83-15 and was a second-team all-Ohio selection as a senior.


RACHEL DEMITA, WADSWORTH HIGH SCHOOL, OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY
Played for head coach Andrew Booth at Wadsworth High School in Wadsworth , Ohio ...McDonald's All-American nominee... Four-time Ohio Top 64 Player...Member of the 2005 AAU Junior National Championship Team - the Score More Athletic Club...Played at the Nike Showcase in Chicago ... Medina County leader in three-pointers made and three-point percentage as a junior in 2007 and senior in 2008...Was also the Medina County 's three-point champion in 2007 connecting on 41 three-point field goals... Led Wadsworth in scoring and free throw percentage...Helped her team to a 21-2 record, a No. 1 ranking in the state for five weeks, and the Suburban League crown as a junior... Named Scholar Athlete of the Year as both a junior in 2007 and senior in 2008...Member of the Women's Rock the Future Leadership...Graduated with honors and was 23rd out of her class of 346.

Dia was a 3 year Varsity letter winner at Holy Name HS.  She was voted All-North Coast Conference her senior.  While attending Notre Dame College , she was voted News-Herald Player of the Week in November, 2005.  She was also voted NAIA Champions of Character for the 2005-06 season.  In her senior season, she was voted 2007 NAIA Division II All-America, Honorable Mention.

She was voted 1st Team All-Pioneer Conference her senior season.  She was 2-time Honorable-Mention, All-Sun News.  She was also voted Honorable-Mention, All-Ohio her senior season, too.  She played at Ohio Wesleyan University where she lead the team in assists and steals both her junior and senior seasons.



NICOLE DRESSLER, CLOVERLEAF H.S., WALSH UNIV.
She was a 3-sport star who lettered in basketball, softball and soccer at Cloverleaf High School .  She was First Team All-Suburban League, All-Medina County , team MVP and a Tri-County All-Star while at Cloverleaf.  Played in Summit-Stark County All-Star game.  Averaged 14 points and 15 points, respectively, her junior and senior seasons.
